Tony E. Sutton, 57, of Concord passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026.  He was born in Santa Rosa, CA on August 4, 1968 the son of Donald Sutton and Leatha Mae (Fulkerson) Martin. 

Teresa LaNell Armour (nee Essary) passed away on January 29, 2026 in Lewisville Texas after a battle with cancer, during which she managed to remain the most put-together person in the room, even during chemo. LaNell was born on August 2, 1964 in Carmi, IL to Nellie M. (Davis) and Rev. C. Ernest Essary.

Alex Towle, Jr. 100 ½, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Silver Fox Nursing Home in McLeansboro, IL.

Gerald "Jerry" Downen, 81, of Rockford, IL passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026 at OSF St. Joseph in Bloomington, IL. He was born on August 12, 1944 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

William Michael Patrick, 74, of Carterville, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at his home. He was born on April 11, 1951, in Nowata, Oklahoma, the son of Wanda Lorraine (Cole) and Warren S. Patrick.

Lavern Peters, 88, of Dahlgren, IL passed away peacefully at home on January 31, 2026.  He was born on October 22, 1937 in Mill Shoals Township in White County, IL to Simon & Emma (Hucker) Peters. 

James David Cross, 47, of Dahlgren, IL passed away on February 1, 2026 at Belle Rive, IL.  James was born July 2, 1978 in Sycamore, IL to David & Debbie (Clark) Cross.

Richard “Dick” Deitz 86, McLeansboro, Illinois passed away Monday, February 2, 2026 at his residence in McLeansboro. Dick was born March 29, 1939 in McLeansboro.

Our beloved Lonnie passed away suddenly on Friday, January 30, 2026 at the age of 72 years old. Lonnie Gene Holloman was born in Heralds Prairie, Illinois to Joseph and Eula Dell Holloman on November 21, 1953 and was raised in Illinois.

Larry Wayne Shaw, 83, of Flora, IL passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born on June 11, 1942 in Norris City, the son of Carl W. and Vercia (Gwaltney) Shaw.
