The VFW in Carmi will be cancelling bingo for the rest of the month.
The Putt-Pub Crawl originally scheduled for Saturday, March 28th has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 11th.
The City of Carmi Light & Water offices will be closed to public entry until at least March 30, 2020. Call 618-382-5555 with any questions you may have.
Carmi Family Dental is postponing all elective dental procedures for at least the period March 17 – 31. They will only be treating patients requiring emergency dental procedures.
The Mary Smith Fay Genealogy Library in Carmi, will be closing starting March 17 and will remain closed until the end of the month.
The Carmi Public Library will be closed until further notice.
Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White is announcing that all offices, including Driver Services facilities statewide, will be closed to the public due to the COVID-19 virus and the health and safety recommendations by experts endorsing social distancing efforts. The closures will take effect March 17 through March 31. Expiration dates for driver’s licenses, identification (ID) cards, vehicle registrations and other transactions and document filings will be extended by 30 days through an emergency rule.
The Brittany Loyd concert @ McHenry Good News Chapel on Saturday, March 21, has been cancelled.
Cherry Street Food Pantry is cancelled for Thursday, March 19. A decision for upcoming dates will be announced later.
