Donna Mae Lawrence, 72, of Browns, Illinois, died Sunday, September 26, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 20, 1949, in Crossville, Illinois, the daughter of Donald Lee Tolley and Allena (Jones) Tolley. She was married to Glen Allen Lawrence, and he survives.
James Richard (Jamie) Youngman Jr., 56, of Carmi, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021. He was born on February 25, 1965, the son of James Richard and Wanda (Churchwell)Holland Youngman. Jamie worked for DirecTV and then later worked as a coal miner in White and Hamilton County and Marissa. He enjoyed playing golf, boating and horseback riding. Jamie loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed camping and fishing.
Sandra Frazier, 81, of Albion, Illinois, died Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. She was born August 25, 1940, in Edgar County, Illinois, the daughter of Harlan and Eleanor (Richards) Rose. She was married to James F. Frazier, Sr., on January 30, 1959, and he preceded her in death on December 27, 2000.
Cynthia Sue Wicks (Bogan), age 80, went to her heavenly home on September 21, 2021. The evening before her passing the entire family gathered around her bedside to send her off with a joyous celebration of praise and singing.

Mary Lou Cozart, 74, of Norris City passed away at 3:00 p.m., Monday, September 20, 2021 at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi. She was born in Eldorado, IL on August 14, 1947 the daughter of Louis C. and Freda Marie (English) Talley. Mary Lou married Ivan E. Cozart on April 29, 1966. She graduated from Norris City-Omaha High School in 1965. Mary Lou worked as the office manager for Country Companies agent Ray Melton in Carmi. She was a member of Union Community Church and attended Ditney Ridge Baptist Church. Her greatest joy and passion was for her grandchildren.
Dannie J. Aud, 69, of Carmi, passed away on Tuesday, September, 21, 2021. He was born in Eldorado, Illinois, on January 12, 1952, the son of Thurman Ellsworth and Alma Louise (Hillyard) Aud. Dannie graduated from Carmi Township High School in 1969. He married Nancy M. Williams on August 6, 1972. Dannie worked at Wags Market, sold oil field chemicals, and later worked at TJ Maxx Distribution Center. He enjoyed playing basketball, playing golf with his brothers and best friend, Robert Barnett, watching his kids and grandkids play sports, and was an avid Carmi Bulldog fan. Dannie's greatest joy was spending time with his family and taking trips to Gatlinburg.
Russell Rolland Lentz, Jr., 74, of Highland, Illinois, formerly of Grayville, Illinois, died Monday, September 20, 2021, at SSM Health DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri. He was born January 23, 1947, in Stockton, Kansas, the son of Russell Rolland Lentz, Sr., and Rose (Traylor) Lentz. He was married to his childhood sweetheart, Deanna (Noel) Lentz, on September 2, 1978, and she survives.
Merrel Fleck, 88, of Carmi, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born on September 18, 1933, the son of Henry and Alma Irene (Savage) Fleck. Merrel proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He married Dolores Dean Anselment on February 28,1960. Merrel spent his life farming. He was a member of the Lions Club, a board member of Farm Bureau for 11 years, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Carmi.
Jerry L. Jordan, 83, of Springerton passed away at 1:53 a.m., Monday, September 13, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Carmi, IL on October 4, 1937 the son of Wilford and Ruth E. (Doshier) Jordan. Jerry married Carol Lambke on September 29, 1973 and she survives. Jerry worked as a bus dirver of the City of Chicago.
