Rosanna Delores (Kreher) Nice, 81, of Dahlgren, IL passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL.  Rosanna was born on January 10, 1945 in Piopolis, IL to her parents Joseph & Gertrude (Birkner) Kreher.  On November 30, 1963 she married Larry Paul Nice who preceded her in death on November 18, 2021.

Helen Marie Harrawood Owen Webb passed away Friday, September 18, 2026 surrounded by family at Purpose & Passion HomeCare in Almo, KY.  She was born December 23, 1931, in McLeansboro, IL, to Luther and Marie (Neel) Harrawood, and she had one sibling, Betty (Morris), who preceded her in death. 

Carroll Dean Partain, 88, of McLeansboro, IL passed peacefully in his sleep on September 13, 2026 at his home.  He was born in Herod, IL on November 7, 1937 to William Masa Partain & Irene (Owen) Partain. 

Robert Eugene “Bob” Tedford, 69, of McLeansboro, IL passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.  Bob was born on March 5, 1957 in Eldorado, IL to Homer Tedford, Jr. & Dana Lee (Clark) Tedford.

Bonnie F. Atkinson, 88, of Carmi, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Wabash Senior Living and Rehab. Born on March 26, 1938, in Webb, Mississippi, she was the daughter of Radford and Ruby (Blalock) Sullivan.

Florence Ethel McDaniel, 95 of Humble, Texas and formerly of Carmi, Illinois, passed on to heaven on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at her residence. Florence was born on Monday, July 6, 1931, in Bluford, Illinois, the daughter of Pauline and Victor Harris.

Wayne E. Aydt, age 59, of Johnston City, Illinois, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, Illinois. He was born on December 8, 1966, in McLeansboro, Illinois, the son of Clarence William “Bill” and Bernice Aydt.

Michael “Mike” L. Knight, 74, of Carmi, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Born May 24, 1952, in Fairfield, Illinois, he was the son of William “Bud” and Dorothy Pauline (Evans) Knight.

Anna Lee Marvel, 93, of Crossville, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Wabash Senior Living and Rehab in Carmi. Born May 25, 1933, in Phillipstown, Illinois, she was the daughter of Lorraine Gholson and Dorothy Ellen (Pyle) Cleveland.

Sherry L. Butler, 76, of Norris City passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.  She was born in Murphysboro, IL on September 26, 1949 the daughter of Thomas R. Cook and Alma Faye Bryd.  Sherry met her husband Steve in Junior High during her 7th grade year. On Valentine's Day he walked up and handed her a box of chocolates, and from that day they became High School sweethearts and each other's best friend and special person.  They married on October 5, 1968.  Sherry had worked as a teacher's aide at Enfield High School, but her greatest joy was being a wife, mother, and grandmother and taking care of her family.
