James Thomas Endicott passed away surrounded by the love of his family on January 26th, 2026 at home in Chandler, Arizona.

James Ray Lindsay, Jr., 41, of Fort Branch, IN passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, IN. He was born on October 4, 1984 in Harrisburg, IL the son of James Ray Lindsay and Mary Ruth (Spear) Hawk. James married Elizabeth Jewell Feuquay on July 26, 2025. He was a lead supervisor at Interrail Transport. James loved fishing, cars and trucks, mudding, Denver Broncos, and watching movies with family.

Rose Mary Nalley, 67, of Newport News, VA passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at her sister's home in Carmi. She was born on December 10, 1958 in Evansville, IN the daughter of Marion and Ethel Ellen (Stallings) Mayhue, Jr. Rose Mary married Eddie C. Nalley on March 11, 1990. She was a 1976 graduate of Carmi Community High School. Rose Mary had worked as a substitute teacher and Real Estate Agent in Virginia. She and Eddie also served as Foster Parents to over 70 children through the years. Rose Mary was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Newport News. She loved shopping, especially if she had a coupon, and camping.

Zella Maxine Thompson, 96, of Girard, IL passed away on January 24, 2026 at Hallmark Healthcare of Carlinville. She was born on November 4, 1929 in Carmi, IL the daughter of Raymond and Sabina “Bina” (Desper) Moore. Maxine married Benny Bryant Thompson on March 8, 1952 and they shared over 67 years until his passing on August 24, 2019. She retired after working 40 years for the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Marilyn Jane Crooks, 78, of Eddyville, IL passed away peacefully with her boys by her side on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at IU North Hospital in Carmel, IN. She was born on August 27, 1947 in Carmi, IL the daughter of Ira and Martha (Wilson) Ward. She married Dr. Gene Zenn on July 20, 2020 and they shared over 5 years of marriage together. She worked for Amex Coal Company and then she also worked as a beautician. Jane’s hobbies were cooking, horse-riding, and spending time with her grandkids.

Louise H. McGill, 99, of Carmi passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Carmel, IL. She was born on January 12, 1927 in Cottonwood, IL the daughter of Cecil and Mary (Blazier) Hendrix. Louise married Van Lane McGill on April 18, 1946 and they shared over 55 years of marriage together until his passing on July 24, 2001. Louise attended the Carmi Nazarene Church and Cherry Street General Baptist Church. She loved to cook, make quilts, and do crosswords.

Paul Michael Motil, 69 of Enfield, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Deaconess Regional Healthcare in Marion, Illinois. He was born on Tuesday, January 15, 1957, in Akron, Ohio, a son of George and Elizabeth Motil.

James "Frog" Spruell, 84, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center in Newburgh, Indiana. He was born on Friday, May 16, 1941, in Grayville, Illinois, the son of Harry Armor and Ruth Nora (Reid) Spruell.

Cade Allen, 19, of Carmi passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro, IL. He was born on December 18, 2006 in Fairfield, IL the son of Whitney R. Barbre and Zachary S. Allen.

William Wayne Wilson, 90, of Carmi passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Deaconess Memorial Hospital in Jasper, IN. He was born in Enfield, IL on September 5, 1935 the son of Elza and Turza (Downen) Wilson.
