Sherri L. (Bartley) Gwaltney, 59, of Carmi passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.  She was born in Eldorado, IL the daughter of Junior Ray and Lanita Jean (Osborne) Bartley. 

Lisa Marie Shreve, 51, of Carmi, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026. She was born on December 13, 1974, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of James Lee and Doraine Kaye (Binkley) Shreve.

Jennifer Lynn Holland, 42, of Carmi, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Wabash Senior Living in Carmi. She was born on July 9,1983, in Carmi, the daughter of John Franklin Holland and Virginia Lea Wardrip.

   Ralph Wayne Hall, 64, of Norris City passed away on January 5, 2026 in Evansville, IN. He was born on May 12, 1961 in Odessa, TX the son of Ralph Morene Hall and Sara Ann (McNeal) Hall.

Linda Sue Prater, 60, of Carmi passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, IN. She was born on June 5, 1965 in Arkansas the daughter of Jesse Morris and Ola Mae (Hosier) Morris.

    Patrick E. Vaughan, 29, of Enfield passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025 in Pontiac, IL. He was born in Harlan, KY on March 10, 1996 the son of Doug Vaughan and Misty Kincaid. Patrick married Desiree Vaughan on December 23, 2020.

Bruce Edward Morlock, age 73, of Crossville, IL passed away January 1, 2026 at his home. He was born August 1, 1952 in Evansville, IN to the late, Jack and Ruth (Walker) Morlock.

Nina Marlene Cozart, 92, of Carmi, IL passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at St. Anthony's Hospice in Henderson, KY. She was born in White County, IL on September 5, 1933, to Miriam(Curtis) and William Anderson.

Russel G. “Buck” Adams, 95, of Carmi passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. He was born on June 26, 1930 in Epworth the son of Luther B. and Rosa (Bates) Adams.
