Margaret (Peggy) Kuykendall, 66, of Crossville, Illinois passed away December 18, 2025, at St. Anthony’s Hospice in Henderson, Kentucky. She was born to the late Lois (Rose) and Bill McClane on May 19, 1959, in Sterling, Colorado.

Norman Edward Winebarger, 68, of Albion, Illinois and formerly of Grayville, Illinois, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Ed was born on Wednesday, June 15, 1957, in Dubois, Pennsylvania, a son of Robert Dixon and Earlene (Frazier) Winebarger.

 Barbara E. Baker, 91, of Carmi passed away on December 17, 2025 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 28, 1934 in White County, IL the daughter of Henry Arthur and Cumae Dorothy (Tate) Burroughs.

 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barry Lynn Stewart on December 16, 2025. He was comforted and surrounded by his family in the days and moments prior to departing this life. Barry was a hard-working family man who believed in loving his family, exuding loyalty, emphasizing effort and commitment, always sharing his thoughts, embracing integrity, and NEVER giving up without a fight.

Thomas Larry Brown, 88, of Carmi, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Wabash Senior Living in Carmi. He was born on Sunday, July 4, 1937, just outside Maunie, Illinois, the son of Harry and Iona (Wooten) Brown. Larry married Kathryn Lynn Spencer in 1964, and she survives. He worked as a power plant operator for the City of Carmi for over 37 years.

Paul Eugene Roberts Jr., 67 of Johnston City, Illinois passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at home with his wife and daughter by his side. He was born on Monday, December 1, 1958, in Herrin, Illinois, a son of Paul Eugene and Margie Louise (Holloway) Roberts.

Jo Ann Gray, 89, of McLeansboro, IL passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.  She was born on January 31, 1936 in Peoria, IL to Henry & Lorine Moore. 

John Howard “Jack” Evans, 80, of Daytona Beach, Florida, and formerly of Indian Mills, New Jersey, peacefully passed away on December 11, surrounded by his loving family in Marlton, New Jersey.

James Elvis Blazier, Sr. 90, of McLeansboro, IL. passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Mt. Vernon, IL. James was born June 25, 1935 in Carmi, IL.

Teddy E. "Pops" Fann , 69, of Carrier Mills, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Eldorado, IL on August 21, 1956, the son of Sharon Kay (Creason) and Donald Fann. Ted married Jacinta (Malson) Hall on June 12, 2018. He had retired as a truck driver.
