The White County Soil and Water Conservation District in Carmi is celebrating Stewardship Week and encouraging locals to reach out for help. Jewel Brooks, the Administrative Coordinator for the White County SWCD says the office can help you learn more about the trees and species native to our area. They’ll be happy to provide insight on tree planting, care and maintenance, as well as information on how to best protect trees from invasive species. Stewardship Week runs through Sunday, May 2nd.
