Several People Hired During Closed Session Of CWC School Board Meeting

The Carmi White County School Board met in a closed session following their regular scheduled meeting on Monday evening. Mike Erwin was employed as a building custodian at Washington Attendance Center for the 22-23 school year to vacancy created by the resignation of Kaleb Childers, Makayla Ralph was employed as a CWCJHS  Special Education individual aide for the 22-23 school year and Kevin Christie was employed as a full time district bus driver for the 22-23 school year to fill the vacancy created by the reassignment of Kim Anderson Morrill.

Several new people were hired to fill positions in the athletic department. Justice Stubblefield will be the new assistant High School Boys Basketball Coach for the 22-23 school year to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Will Knight, Justin Simmons was employed as the High School Assistant Girls Basketball coach for the 22-23 school year to fill the vacancy created by Chris Lucas, Mike Zaranti will be the 8th grade girls basketball coach to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Chris Pollard and Darrell Conover and Chris Pollard were approved as Junior High School volunteer assistant 7th and 8th grade girls basketball coaches for the 22-23 school year. The 6th grade boys basketball coach will be Logan Bailey who was hired to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Ben Bradshaw and Chris Myers was employed as the High School assistant wrestling coach for the 22-23 school year to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Scott Howard. The board also approved three individuals for High School volunteer assistant coaches for the 22-23 school year. Marc Stendeback for boys basketball, Scott Howard and Brandon Smith as volunteer assistant wrestling coaches and Kayla Sutton and Carlin Smock as volunteer assistant girls basketball coaches.
