Darlyne Ann (Manning) Hindahl, 94, of McLeansboro, IL. passed away peacefully on November 10, 2024, at Fox Meadows Supportive Living in McLeansboro, IL.

  Helen Jane (McGhee, Yates) Miller, 69, of Enfield,  passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024, at home, after battling a year long illness. She was born on May 5, 1955, in Carmi, Illinois to George Arthur and LuVeda (Woods) McGhee.

 Vora Mae Bertram, 77, of Norris City, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Eldorado Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on February 10, 1947, in Paris, Illinois, the daughter of Franklin Dewayne and Eleanor Rose (Blockenger) Tharp. She worked as an in-home healthcare aide for many years. Vora enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, and  spending time with her family and friends. She loved her dog, Penny.

     Edna Fern May, 83, of Grayville passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Meadowbrook Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Grayville, IL.  She was born in White County, IL on November 25, 1940 the daughter of Herschel and Inez (Hale) Merritt.  Edna married Bill G. May and he preceded her in death in 1986.  She had attended Cherry Street General Baptist Church in Carmi.

Shirley Ann Williams, 81, of Carmi, Illinois, died Friday, November 8, 2024, at Wabash Senior Living and Rehabilitation in Carmi, after a brief illness. She was born January 6, 1943, in Springerton, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence “C.W.” and Jewel (McGehee) Stocke.

Kalaya Marie Kukuk, daughter of Glendalyn Fann and Nathen Kukuk, entered this world in the arms of Jesus on Friday, November 8, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

Lena Faye Daily, age 84, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Linda E. White Hospice House, Evansville, Indiana.

 Patricia Ann (Cox) Roosevelt, 78, of Carmi, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Premier Healthcare Of New Harmony, in New Harmony, Indiana. She was born on June 14, 1946, in Eldorado, Illinois, the daughter of Elwood and June (Markum) Cox.

Mary Dozier, 62, of Boyleston, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She was born on August 18, 1962, in Fairfield, Illinois, the daughter of John Ivan and Wave Ernestine (Garrett) Dozier. Mary worked as a teacher's aide at New Hope School. She was a member of Mill Shoals Christian Church where she served as secretary and treasurer. Mary enjoyed cooking, gardening, and being in nature. She loved to watch the sunrise and sunsets.
