Chelsea Noel Wood, 41, of Johnsonville, IL passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.  Chelsea was born on September 28, 1983 in Abilene, TX to Gilbert & Traci Wood. 

William Ronald “Ron” Kennedy, 77, of Wayne City, IL passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Deaconess Illinois Crossroads Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL.  Ron was born on November 19, 1947 in Mt. Vernon, IL to Robert & Joyce (Thomas) Kennedy.

Lawrence “Larry” Laverne Wiggins, of Calera, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2024, in McKinney, Texas, at the age of 70. He was born on May 5, 1954, in Spokane, Washington.

Rev. George Harrison Knight, 97, of Carmi, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Wabash Senior Living in Carmi. He was born on June 1, 1927, in Mounds, Illinois, the son of George Herbert and Mamie (Volner) Knight. He married Ruby Ellen Carter on January 11, 1946, and she preceded him in death on June 23, 2022. George worked at White County Lumber, Wags and Big John's. He was a minister until he retired. He was a member of the New Beginning Church of God in Carmi.

Bobby Sloan “Bob” Prince, 94, of McLeansboro, IL passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. Bob was born on August 21, 1930 in Thackeray, IL to Ralph & Teresa (Sloan) Prince.

William Frederic Boyer, 85, of Eatonton, GA, and formerly of McLeansboro, IL, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024 at his home in Eatonton.

He was born October 5, 1939 in McLeansboro to Fred and Anna (Meeks) Boyer. 

Susan Maxine Cowling, 67, of Grayville, Illinois, died Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Meadowbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation in Grayville, Illinois. She was born April 29, 1957, in Carmi, Illinois, the daughter of Leonard V. and Agnes (McKay) Hawkins.

     Richard H. "Dike" Behler, 97, of Carmi, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Wabash Senior Living and Rehab, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 22, 1927, in Carmi, to Ben J. and Hattie Victoria (Puckett) Behler.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Eugene Keck, age 70, on December 6, 2024, at West River Health Campus in Evansville, Indiana. Gary was born on March 25, 1954, in Flora, Illinois to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Quentin and Beulah (Eastin) Keck.

Sally L. Griffith, 86, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at St. Rose Dominican Hospital Siena Campus in Henderson, NV. She was born in Illinois on May 10, 1938 the daughter of George Curtis and Margaret Isabelle (Delap) Blacker.
