Ralph "Joe" Newman, 94, of Carmi, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro, Illinois. He was born on October 14, 1930, in Carmi, the son of Albert and Mary (Waters) Newman.

Norman Dale Midkiff, aged 70, passed away on November 9, 2024, in Tucson, AZ. Born on August 28, 1954, Norman was known for his dedication as a husband, his generous and loving nature, and being the original 'Girl Dad'.

Mary Lou Stanton, 89, of Broughton, IL passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Deaconess Illinois Medical Center in Marion, IL.  Mary was born on January 16, 1935 in Fredonia, KY to Russell & Rachel Cummings. 

    Brenda Lynn Pennington, 63, of Carmi, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. She was born on May 15, 1961, in Bath, Michigan, the daughter of Donald and Helen (Irvin) Russell.

    James Edward "Jimmy" Henderson, 53, of McLeansboro, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Heart to Heart Hospice in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on January 2, 1971, in Eldorado, Illinois, the son of Richard Eugene and Lillie Genevieve (Barnett) Henderson.

Stephen Farris, 75, a resident of McLeansboro, IL. passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

 Ronald Eugene Guthrie, 47, of Carmi, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024. He was born on August 19, 1977, in Carmi, Illinois, the son of Ronald Gene and Patricia Ann (Stacy) Guthrie. Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Oak Hill Construction in Ewing, Illinois. Ronald enjoyed fishing, camping and going to the river. Most of all, he loved his family.

Ruth Dolores (Storey) Gott of Enfield passed away November 13, 2024, at Alexander IV Senior Living facility in Macon, Georgia. Dolores was born February 8, 1937, to Robert Elcie and Violet Storey, of Enfield, Illinois.

Sharon Russell, age 78, a resident of McLeansboro, IL. passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

Radford “Rad” Murray Johnson, Jr., 90, of Crossville, Illinois, passed away Monday, November 11, 2024, at Heart-to-Heart Hospice in Evansville, Indiana. He was born July 13, 1934, in Crossville, Illinois to the late Radford and Eunice (Siegert) Johnson.
