Ward Served Warrants For Criminal Damage And Attempted Fleeing

A Crossville man that is being held in the White County Jail has been served two additional warrants. 33 year old Devin Ward of 4th Street was advised of the warrants on Tuesday. Warrants were issued for Ward were for Criminal Damage to State Supported Property that carries a $2500 cash bond and Attempted Escape after walking out a zoom court meeting room to attempt to leave. Bond on the Attempted Escape charge has been set at $5,000.

Ward is scheduled to appear for a Status Hearing on August 30th at 9:00 a.m.

      I’m his sister. He is mentally ill!! He needs help not thrown in a jail cell!! But a jail cell is the only answers around here for mental health help I guess!!

    Yes I know him first hand. He’s a meth head He’s a b** and don’t want to work or do anything for that matter.
    He needs to be sent to prison. He’s a burden for the whole town of Crossville.
    And if something isn’t bolted down he’s going to walk off with it.

      Philip my brothers not a thief never has been ask around. Has he done meth yea a lot of people has done their fair share of it round white county and every where else too. Sounds like you don’t know Devin at all! He’s been mentally ill since he was 16 years old.!!
