Three are dead following a head on Truck Tractor Semi Trailer accident near County Line Road of Illinois 142 in Hamilton County Tuesday. According to Illinois State Police, a southbound passenger vehicle attempted to pass a vehicle and lost control going off the roadway into a ditch before overcorrecting and coming back onto the roadway. It then crossed the centerline and struck a semi head on. All three occupants of the southbound passenger vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi was treated on scene for a small cut to his head. No names have been released.

I know because it’s my family. We just found out today because their daughter called and the Only reason she knew was because the school called her today. Do a better job Saline County police

Instead of them informing their other 2 children. August 23rd the school informed their daughter that her Father, Mother, & little brother were deceased. Shame on Saline County police. His father is there. That’s Pathetic Police work. They still have yet to inform his father.
