Tax Bills Have Arrived
Local residents should have received their 2022 payable 20223 Tax bills by now.
If you haven’t received those bills, you should contact White County Treasurer Michael Baxley as soon as possible as the first installment date is the middle of October.
The tax bills will be due on October 16 and November 15th this year.
Baxley also reminded local residents the treasurer’s office is no longer in the courthouse but has moved to the former Carmi Times building. That address is 323 East Main Street, here in Carmi.
Payments can be made in person or by mail. Payments to be mailed should be addressed to White County Collector, PO Box 369, Carmi, IL 62821.
