On Thursday, October 7th, the White County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to the home of 67 year old Albert C Williams of 1060 County Road2400 N, Carmi in regards to a stolen ATV. When the officer arrived at the residence, he spoke with the owner of the ATV and learned that he has a 2006 red Honda 500FM that was located in his machine shed. Albert told the officer that the ATV was hooked to a small trailer and that the ATV had been disconnected from the trailer and was taken out the North side door of the machine shed and driven off the property. Albert said that on the front left side of the ATV, there is a purple stain on the plastic. The officer then made contact with a resident in the area and asked if they had seen the ATV. The resident stated that on October 06, at around 9PM he witnessed a red Honda ATV being operated by a male subject that was being followed by a white car.
A report was made for a theft of over $500. If anyone has any information on the ATV, please contact the White County Sheriff’s Department.
