Norris City has a new leader. Mayor Charles “Skip” Land will preside over his first full village board meeting on Monday, June 7th at city hall. Amanda Holman will appear before the board for a TIF request. Krystal Guard is also on the agenda. The board is also scheduled to take up the ambulance building and specifically the appointment of Jack Johnson; also speed limits, a water project update, and they will do a bid opening for surplus equipment in the form of a 2003 Ford pick up. Vickie Hobbs will update the board on street signs and Millie Pate will give an update on flower boxes. The board will also receive a police report and animal control reports before a potential executive session.
