A Facebook post has been taken out of context according to Grayville Police. While alarming and authorities are taking it seriously, the facts point towards a story with a sadder tone than criminal intentions. The post indicates that two young boys caught an elderly gentleman pleasuring himself at the pool. Authorities say the situation more closely resembles a mental health crisis and the individual is suffering from dementia. Police Chief Mason Siegel says leaders did take the concern seriously and are working with the family of the individual to get him the care he needs. Siegel says the man has been banned from the pool, but clearly stated this wasn’t a predatory case.
