January is National Mentoring Month and Mentors for Kids is celebrating with an Open House that will be held at the Carmi Public Library on Thursday from 2-4pm. Maggie Gonzalez will be on hand to speak about how to become a mentor and the impact mentoring can have. Mayor Jeff Pollard will sign a proclamation in recognition of National Mentoring Month, and light refreshments will be served.
