The Carmi-White County girls basketball team defeated Fairfield last night on the road by a final score of 39-34.

Caroline Simmons led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with 19 points.
Mara Serafini scored 15 points.
Addi Elliott scored 4 points.
Ashlyn Rager scored 1 point.

The Lady Bulldogs improve to 21-4 on the season and 7-0 in the Black Diamond Conference. 

Carmi will host Edwards County tonight at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium. With a win, the Lady Bulldogs will clinch their first Black Diamond Conference Championship since the 2008-2009 season.

The Carmi-White County wrestling team fell to Harrisburg last night by a final score of 51-27. 

Caleb Seibers, Nelson Rider, Konner Buchanan and Travor Mason all won their matches via pin.
Gage Anderson received a forfeit win. 

The Bulldog wrestlers fall to 19-7 on the season. They will travel to West Frankfort for the final match of the season on Tuesday. They will then begin regionals next Saturday in Herrin.
