A 25 year old Crossville man, Zakkary M. Hosick is lodged in the White County Jail after the White County Sheriff’s Office received a call Sunday night just after 6:30 stating there was a group of people across the street from her residence who had dragged a person out of a vehicle and was battering him. Officers responded to the address at 405 Rudolph Street Apt. 13B and observed several people standing around the apartment building. Lacy Duncan, who lives at the residence, told officers Zak Hosick had been staying with her for quite some time and she had been trying to get him to leave the apartment for a while. She stated she had been trying again Sunday to get him to move out, but he refused to leave. She called Matt Duncan to come and help her move him out. The commotion of them arguing caused the residents of the apartments to come out and see what was going on. According to Lacy Duncan, Hosick began collecting his belongings and putting them in front of the apartment. She said a lot of people began arguing but she did not see anything physical happen. Duncan signed a complaint against Hosick for Disorderly Conduct. Hosick was placed in handcuffs and transported to the White County Jail.
