Grayville Commissioners; Carmi Township Officials Preparing for Meetings Next Week

A pair of meetings next week will tackle government business.  Monday night, a fairly light agenda is on tap for Grayville leaders.  They’ll look to formally approve the revolving loan agreement with Bernies located inside the former Windsor Oaks hotel.  At the last meeting, the council agreed in earnest but needed some time for an influx of cash into the account before officially approving the agreement.  Council will also consider releasing an easement at the I-64 plaza.  Tuesday, Carmi Township officials will gather for their October meeting.  On the agenda under unfinished business, trustees will get an update on the Decennial (or every ten years) Committee.  Trustees are also expected to consider proposed levy numbers and road security cameras.  The November meeting date is also expected to be formally changed from the 14th to the 21st due to a conference being held in Springfield.
