Egyptian Health Department Reports 30 New COVID-19 Cases Over the Weekend

Egyptian Health Department was notified over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) of 30 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:

 

  • Saline County (15)
    • 2 females in their teens
    • 2 females in their 20’s
    • 3 females in their 30’s
    • 1 female in her 40’s
    • 1 male in his 40’s
    • 1 female in her 60’s
    • 1 female in her 70’s
    • 1 male in his 70’s
    • 1 female in her 80’s
    • 1 female in her 90’s
    • 1 female, age demographics unknown-case status in progress.

 

  • Gallatin County (1)
    • 1 male in his 80’s

 

  • White County (14)
    • 2 males under the age of 10
    • 2 females in their teens
    • 1 male in his teens
    • 1 female in her 30’s
    • 1 male in his 40’s
    • 1 male in his 50’s
    • 3 females in their 60’s
    • 1 male in his 60’s
    • 1 female in her 70’s
    • 1 male in his 80’s

 

To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,362 lab confirmed positives, including 43 deaths, 1,235 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,643 lab-confirmed positives, including 24 deaths, 728 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 458 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 259 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

If you have been tested for COVID-19, please remember that you have to isolate at home until you have received your test results. Please note: If you have received results for a COVID-19 Rapid Test– ???????????????????????????????? or ????????????????????????????????– you should still ???????????????????????????? until you receive your lab-confirmed results. IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 2,060 new confirmed cases and 48 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,146,341 confirmed cases and 19,633 deaths in Illinois.
