Crossville Winterfest

While Halloween and Thanksgiving are not in the books…yet…some folks are already turning their attention to Christmas; including the Village of Crossville.

It was announced last week, Crossville will host their annual Winterfest on Saturday, December 9. The theme for this year’s celebration is : Christmas in Toy Land.

The celebration will include the Lighted Christmas Parade. It will get underway that Saturday evening at 6. There will be cash prizes for the top entries in the parade.

Saturday will also include a vendor fair from 2 until 8 p.m. Eight by ten spots are available for $10, two spots will cost $20. You should bring your own table. To register for the vendor fair, to be held at the Crossville high school building, one may contact Sherrie Morloci, Cherie Westfall, Trish Pringle or Samantha Youngblood. Forms are also available on the Crossville Winterfest Facebook page.

The parade will feature Crossville’s Holiday royalty that will be selected at the Winterfest Pageant set for December 3rd. Entry information can be found on-line, specifically on Facebook, where it was pointed out entries for the pageant will be closed the morning of November 26. No entries will be accepted after that date.
