A Crossville man is awaiting a court date after Carmi Police arrested him Friday night. It was just after 10pm when officers pulled the vehicle over at the intersection of Oak and Lexington. The passenger in the vehicle, 43-year-old Jonathan Acord was arrested and charged with improper possession of cannabis in a motor vehicle. Acord was booked into the White County Jail and released with a notice to appear just before 11pm. Online court records don’t yet indicate when Acord is set to appear before a judge.
