
A Thursday night chase resulted in the arrest of a Grayville man on Abelson Drive in Carmi. 29-year-old James McFarland is behind bars at the White County after Carmi Police caught up to him just after 11pm. He’s facing charges of Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding, Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle, Driving While License Revoked, Possession of Meth, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Use of Property, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Hypodermic Needles. In 2019, McFarland was found guilty on a Meth Delivery charge dating back to 2017 and sentenced to 7 years behind bars.
