Carmi Police responded to a report Saturday night about a man getting struck by a car at the intersection of 5th and Sycamore.
Jerry Lamont was located and life-flighted to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
After further investigation, 57-year-old Albion resident Donna Lamont was arrested. She was charged for Leaving the Scene of an Accident Causing Great Bodily Harm. Donna will remain at the White County Jail until she can see a judge.
It was determined that Jerry had jumped onto her vehicle on Maple Street after an argument, and that he remained on the vehicle until falling off.
