Following the public hearing Tuesday, Carmi City Council will gather for the first of their two scheduled September meetings. On the agenda is possible approval of that mobile home permit the public hearing will address. Additionally, the council will consider helping out with a second School Resource Officer for the Unit 5 School District. Multiple pay requests will be considered as will a change order. Council will also review sealed bids and potentially accept one for the sale of a 1992 Ford F700 Bucket Truck. WROY/WRUL will have a reporter at the meeting and bring you details Wednesday morning.
