A Carmi woman who was just found guilty and given conditional discharge for a theft charge last week is now back behind bars in White County. Carmi Police arrested 32-year-old Elizabeth Bebout Monday afternoon on a Posey County warrant from late 2024 charges of Knowingly or Intentionally Operating Motor Vehicle without Ever Receiving a License and Improper Display of License Plate. Bebout was pulled over just about a quarter before 1pm near her residence on 7th Street. The warrant was issued on April 21st. Bond has been set at $500 cash.
