Authorities Searching for Missing Grayville Boy

Authorities Searching for Missing Grayville Boy

Grayville Chief of Police Roy Mann is asking for the public’s assistance this morning as his department, along with the Edwards County Sheriff’s Department, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department’s Drone, the fire department and the Illinois State Police, continue looking for a ten year old Grayville boy who has been missing since Thursday afternoon.

Chief Mann, said the boy, has blonde hair, blue eyes and is of thin build. He was wearing a black t-shirt, dark shirts and blue tennis shoes. He was last seen on Old State Road, coming north out of Grayville, around 4 or 4:30 Thursday afternoon. The chief explained he was heading north on a razor type scooter, about a mile north of Grayville when he was last spotted.

His parents reported him missing Thursday afternoon and authorities have spent the night scouring the area, searching for the child.

If you have seen the child or have any information about his whereabouts, please contact the Grayville Police Department at 618-375-2351 or the Edwards County Sheriff’s Department at 618-445-2721.
