Illinois State Police responded to a semi and pickup collision that occurred Sunday night on Route 1 that sent a Grayville woman to the hospital. According to that crash report, at 11:07 pm a semi driven by Truett Chapman of Hornbeck, Louisiana was traveling south on Route 1 when a pickup driven by 32 year old Erica Garner of Grayville entered the intersection from County Road 2450 N and struck the cab and trailer.
Garner was transported to a local hospital with non-incapacitating injuries. Chapman was not injured in the collision. Garner was charged with failure to yield right of way.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Grayville Police Department, Wabash Fire Protection District, and the Edwards County Ambulance Service.
