White County Soil and Water Conservation District’s 79th Annual Meeting will be held Thursday, February 20, at the Floral Hall of the fairgrounds in Carmi. Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. A free fish dinner and sides prepared by McPeak Fish Market will be served at 5:30.
A short business meeting will follow, with two Directors to be elected. Awards will be presented to 1st place and County Best winners of the District’s annual Poster Contest and to the 2024 Conservation Farm Family, Sunnybrook Gardens. Numerous door prizes donated by area businesses will be given away.
