White County Sheriff Doug Maier has filed his July report. Maier says the White County jail had 77 inmates at the time of the report including 25 White County prisoners to go along with 52 out of county. Furthermore, Maier reports revenues of $86,302.98 for the White County Jail during July. He says his office received 446 calls for service throughout the month while dispatch handled just under 1,400 (1,392) calls for service in July. Year to date, White County Dispatch has handled more than 46,500 (46,565) calls. Finally, Maier says the recreation area has been completed at the rear of the jail and the total expense for that project was paid for out of commissary funds.
