School Board Meeting Tonight
The Carmi White County Unit 5 School Board will meet for its May meeting this evening at 7.
The meeting to be held at the Jefferson Attendance Center, new building will cover a fairly full agenda including setting the 2019/2020 open house, inservice and parent teacher conference dates, along with pest control bids and membership in the IASB.
Committee assignments and business concerning the school resource officer agreement with the City of Carmi will be covered.
Bus lease or purchase discussion will continue, along with athletic event transportation will also be covered.
A closed session is expected to be held with a number of items to be considered concerning employment and reassignment of staff.
The school board normally meets the third Monday of the month.
