School Board Hires and Assignments

 

The Carmi White County Unit Five School Board not only had a busy meeting Monday night, but an executive session was also busy with a number of hires and assignments made following the closed door session.

The board hired Kim Hindman as a special education adaptive PE teacher at Brownsville to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Jessica Cozzello.

Tara Miller was hired as a special ed teacher at Brownsville, filling the position vacated by Karissa Rushing.

Megan King was reassigned as a fifth grade teacher to sixth grade English language arts teacher at Washington Attendance Center. April Benham was hired as fifth grade teacher.

Brittany Maggi was employed as special education individual aide at Washington.

Brenda Lack will be returning as part time high school business and computer education teacher and ICO teacher coordinator.

Jessica Flanigan was employed as high school vocational, business, marketing and computer Ed teacher.

Megan Tockstein was employed as high school vocational agriculture teacher.

Jennifer Foote was reassigned from Jefferson to Lincoln as special ed classroom aide.

Elizabeth Blecks was employed at part time noon supervisor at Lincoln Attendance Center. Vanessa Kiser was employed as special ed aide at Lincoln.

Rachel Essary was hired as part time dish washer at Jefferson.
Dusty Brinkley was employed as special Ed classroom aide at Jefferson along with Shelley Aldrich.

Mallory Stendeback was reassigned as reading aid to special ed aide at Jefferson.

Amanda Martn was reassigned as building secretary at Jefferson, and Ashley Elliott was reassigned to physical Ed aid at Carmi white county junior high.

WROY News has this correction to Scott Mareing’s School Board report Tuesday; Lora O’Daniel was named the junior high school softball assistant coach, not the high school as reported. Beth Hart serves as the assistant high school softball coach.
