Leaders at Carmi White County Unit 5 will gather for their May meeting this Monday, May 3rd in the cafeteria of the Jr/Sr High School. The monthly get-together will get underway with business at 7pm. Scott Mareing will have the meeting covered for WROY/WRUL News. The board will review election results and mostly procedural items are on the agenda including the election of officers and establishing of meeting dates and location for the upcoming year. The board has been meeting on the third Monday of each month save for 3 months when there are conflicts. Superintendent Lee is expected to recommend the board keep the same schedule for the upcoming year. The board will also formally adopt policies of the previous board while selecting a committee to review those policies and prepare any recommendations for change. There will also be a place on the agenda prior to adjournment for public communications with the board. Again, that meeting of the school board comes your way next Monday.
