
A Carmi man is being held in the White County Jail pending the setting of bond after being arrested during a traffic stop Friday. At around 11:00 p.m. an officer with the Carmi PD stopped a vehicle on Main and Jessup that was being driven by 28 year old Dakota Goodwin. Goodwin was taken into custody for Driving While License Suspended and Possession of Cannabis, more than 100 grams but less than 500 grams.
No court date has been set at this time. Goodwins vehicle was towed from the scene by Don’s Bumper to Bumper.
And in the early morning hours Saturday officers stopped a vehicle on Oak Street and arrested 21 year old Jakeb Anders of Benton for Driving While License Suspended and Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle. Anders was taken into custody and booked in the White County Jail where bond was set at $250 plus a $20 booking fee and was released.
Anders vehicle was towed from the scene by S&E Towing.
