Carmi Police arrested 20 year old James Parker of Carmi following a traffic stop on Monday night. Parker was pulled over on 9th Street at 7:47 pm and was taken into custody for not having a valid driver’s license. Parker was also cited for possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis. He is being held at the White County Jail in lieu of a $150 bond.
34 year old Misty Escoto Apointe of Carmi was arrested by Carmi Police on a White County warrant for permitting truancy following a traffic stop Monday. Apointe was arrested just after 9 pm after being pulled over on Webb Street. Apointe is being held at the White County Jail in lieu of a $150 bond.
