Traffic Stops Results in Arrest
A Carmi man was arrested shortly before 7 Wednesday morning following a traffic stop.
Justin M. Lindsey, 29, 919 W. Fackney Street, was stopped after he squealed the tires on his vehicle.
Lindsey submitted to a field sobriety test following the traffic stop and he was found to be impaired. Lindsey was arrested and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. He was also cited for illegal squealing of tires.
Linsey posted $100 cash bond and was released from custody.
Another traffic stop just before 1 a.m. Thursday resulted in the arrest of a Norris City man.
Caleb E. Quillman, 289 County Road 375 East was arrested for driving on a suspended/revoked license.
Quillman was also cited for possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Quillman posted $150 bond and was released from custody.
