Heavy grade copper electrical wire.
The White County Sheriff’s Department received a call on Thursday July 13th in regards to Criminal Damage and Theft on his property. Sgt Craig Poole arrived at property located off of County Road 1150 E and spoke with Jack Sailer of Carmi who stated that the power supply wires on a grain bin had been cut and the copper wires were removed. Sailer told Poole it had been a couple of months since he had observed the power supply to the grain bin in normal operating conditions.
A complaint was signed by Sailer for Theft under $500

July 19, 2023 at 7:39 amWhen I worked for GE the boys with Georgia Power and Alabama Power would send us pictures of geniuses that thought that a pair of linemen’s plyers had enough insulation for them to cut cables as a power substation. The results were impressive! Limbs blown or burned off. Total bodies charred. Like they say “Stupid is as stupid does!”
