33-year old Isaiah D. Tapia was sentenced Friday, June 27, 2025 to a total of 4-years in the Illinois Department of Corrections to be followed by 6-months of mandatory supervised release in Edwards County Case No. 2023-CF-32. Isaiah D. Tapia had previously pled guilty to the
offense of Unlawfully Attempting to Defraud a Drug Screening Test and was found to have violated his probation. Edwards County State’s Attorney Eric A. St Ledger prosecuted the case on behalf of the People of the State of Illinois and attorney Jonathan Turpin represented the
defendant, Isaiah D. Tapia.
