Sixth Day Enrollment Figures at CWC Underscore the Difficulties in Social Distancing

Sixth Day Enrollment figures are out for Carmi-White County Unit 5.  The district has 1,336 kids enrolled this year made up of 680 boys and 656 girls.  By building, there are 202 at Lincoln Attendance Center, 168 at Jefferson, 360 students at Washington, 213 at the Jr. High, and 375 at the High School.  Brownsville this year has an enrollment of 18.  With the Jr. High and High School now in the same building, it’s packed with 588 students plus all the staff which Superintendent Brad Lee said at a recent meeting with a local civic organization, makes social distancing a challenge.
