Tuesday morning, the White County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a burglary at an outbuilding at Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Pastor Scott Baird reported that several woodworking tools he personally owned were missing, and he was unsure when the theft took place. No signs of forced entry were found.
Early Wednesday morning, Sheriff Maier responded to a domestic violence complaint in Enfield. No physical altercation was found to have taken place, but a threat was issued. Neither party wished to sign a complaint against the other.
