Santa Claus made his way to White County over the weekend. He was ushered in with a beautiful lighted parade full of local citizens with decorated cars and floats!
After the parade, Santa, Mayor Jeff Pollard and the White County Christmas Queens flipped the switch to light up the giant tree located at Veterans Memorial Park. Santa got to see all the boys and girls and listed to what they wanted for Christmas this year.
“There is something about Christmas lights that bring a smile to the faces of people young and
old.” said Chamber Executive Director Amber Ackerman. “This is my favorite time of year and I hope to continue to build on the events of It’s a White County Christmas to make this parade and other Christmas events better and brighter each year!”
