At Thursday’s Rotary meeting, Rotarians did an in house trivia contest to get ready for the real contest on Saturday, November 5th. It will be held at 6PM at the American Legion. First place price will be $100, 2nd place will be $60 and 3rd place will be $40. The cost will be $40 for a 4 person team. Rotarians will supply snacks and drinks. Money will be used to fund local projects. Anyone interested can call or talk to any Rotarian. In the in house contest, Cindy Conley’s team edged out JR Hubele’s team in a hotly contested affair.
In club business, JR Hubele was named the phantom. Cindy Conley won the honor of selecting the pink ball in the 50/50 drawing but did not so the pot rolls over. Andy Williams and Little Giant prepared a delicious meal of fish and hushpuppies. The club meets at noon on Thursday at the First United Methodist Church. Anyone wishing to get involved is encouraged to come help Rotary with the many local projects and charities that are supported.
