The City of Carmi announced a road closure for today, (Tuesday, Oct.10), weather permitting.
The road will close at 8 a.m. and likely remain closed through about 2 p.m. The closure will be on Sycamore Street between James Avenue and County Road 1000 East, do to construction.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and the city apologized for any inconvenience caused by the work.
