Primitive Crafts classes at RLC coming to Mt. Vernon, Wayne City

Get your creative juices flowing and create unique primitive decorations with instructor Melissa Lowery during Primitive Crafts class this spring. Classes will be held in Mt. Vernon and Wayne City.

Lowery, owner of Simply Primitive in Wayne City, will help participants construct one-of-a-kind crafts on jars, wood, and screens using chalk, paint, and stencils to create pieces that idealize simplicity and country living. No experience is necessary to take part in the class.

Four classes will be held at Simply Primitive in Wayne City, each meeting from 9 a.m. – noon. Jar Utensil Holder will meet Saturday, Jan. 28; Design on Glass Window will meet Saturday, Feb. 18; Design on Screen will meet Saturday, March 25; and Personalized Sign on Wood with Stencils will meet on Saturday, April 29.

Additional sessions on Jar Utensil Holder and Personalized Sign on Wood with Stencils will meet from 9 a.m. – noon at the RLC MarketPlace, Room 354A, in Mt. Vernon. The jar class will meet Saturday, Feb. 4 and the sign on wood class will meet Saturday, April 8.
