A planned power outage will take place on Wednesday, July 29, from 4:30am-7am for Sunnybrook, Hillcrest, south side of Valter Drive, west side of Lexington Avenue, Tri-State Butane, Brookestone Resources, Marshall Electric, and WROY/WRUL site on Route 14. Burrell Street, Stewart Street, Illinois Street, Sycamore Street, and James Avenue will be out for 15 minutes beginning at 4:30am. The purpose of the planned outage is to replace a pole. The City of Carmi regrets any inconvenience.
This planned power outage will give WROY/WRUL an opportunity to make a few checks in our operating system and test our generator. It’s possible you won’t notice any interruption of service. The radio station apologizes for any issue.
