The burglary of a four wheeler has been reported by a Norris City resident. On April 9th, the White County Sheriff’s Department received a call from Linda Ruphard stating that her family owned barn, located at 25 Co Rd 850 N in Norris City, had been broken into. Ruphard said the break in have been occurring more frequently in the last 6 months. Ruphard stated that a window was missing on the barn and that the door was kicked open. Ruphard stated she had recently had a four wheeler taken from the barn and wanted to report it stolen. She stated that her husband bought the four wheeler and that they have the title, but they don’t remember any details on the ATV or when they purchased it. Officer Esmon with the WCSD entered the Four Wheeler into LEADS as stolen. The serial number came back to a 1986 Honda, but no further description was available. Officer Esmon told Ruphard that a report would be made on the incident and she would be contacted if the four wheeler was recovered.
