The Board approved the student handbooks to be given out on the first day. There were not a lot of changes from previous years, but an updated athletic policy is included for parents.

High School Principal Todd Haley noted that a meeting for parents of  Junior High and High School fall sports athletes will be held August 9 at 6 p.m. in the High School auditorium.

The High School will hold registration Aug. 8 from 10-12 for Seniors; Aug. 9 from 10-12 for Sophomores and 12-2 for Juniors.  Freshmen orientation will be Aug 11 from 8-6.  School pictures will be taken at registration.  Letters are being sent out to parents with more details.

Cafeteria prices will be $2.35 for grade school lunch and $1 for breakfast this year.  The meal price at the High School will be $2.50 for lunch and $1 for breakfast.  The rates for consumables will remain at $35 for elementary and $40 for high school.  There will be no increase for athletic entry fees.

The Board thanked Mike Hite and the Village workers for replacing the water hydrant at the baseball field.  The Board gave approval to purchase a used 25 foot lift.

The next meeting will be August 10 at 7 p.m.
