Surface and underground miners can enroll today in an Annual Refresher Training, scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 21 at Rend Lake College. The class runs from 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. in the Coal Mine Training Center on the Ina campus.
The one-day training course will fulfill the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s requirements for 10 hours of annual retraining for anyone working in a coal mine. Safety and first aid will be among the topics covered.
